Description:You’ll be in the best location of Stockholm here in Vasastan. Cosy, trendy, lots of parks, cafés/bars/restaurants everywhere and you can walk virtually anywhere in Stockholm. The shopping street Drottninggatan that runs through Stockholm all to the parliament/old town is one small block away. Despite the bustling life within a few steps the 100 years’ old building is on a side street without discos or late night pubs. The 75 m2 (800 feet) apartment is roomy and practical. It consists of: • A small entrance/hallway • Small bathroom with bathtub • Large open living room with a sofa, CD/radio-player, and small TV • Lovely kitchen in an open floor plan with living room. Fully equipped – gas stove, electrical oven, microwave, dish washer, washing machine, fridge, freezer, etc • One small bedroom with two single beds (one pulls out from underneath the other) • One larger bedroom with 160 x 200 cm (approx. Queen) General: 1. Superfast Wi-Fi included 2. All linen and towels provided (purchased December 2011) 3. Strictly no pets or smoking inside the apartment/building 4. No late night parties please – this is a quiet and calm building where people enjoy their rest. 5. You cannot use the fire place – it is strictly forbidden to use it as the chimney is not functional 6. The apartment is on the 2nd floor and is has no elevator (100 years’ old houses seldom has). Hence, it is not ideal for people with limited physical capabilities – you must be able to walk the stairs. 7. Mandatory cleaning fee – USD 30 per stay. This is really a great place in an excellent location. Our family often rent holiday homes as we love extensive traveling and want to stay in regular areas rather than touristy hotels. We live outside Stockholm nowadays but still use our apartment on a regular basis. We’re happy to help you with any inquires or questions – please do not hesitate to contact us. Any drawbacks? Hmmm – the kind and warm neighbors like the house when it is calm and quite so really no loud parties please. The central heating is great but some people find it slightly too warm – in winter time just turn down the heaters and in summer time open windows. There isn’t much of a view – just across the street is another building. The apartment itself has a good/normal standard – but the bathroom needs a renovation in the next few years so it is not sparkling new though fully functional.
