Description:Large, clean, well-furnished studio with separate entrance. This is a converted garage that is attached to our house by a door we never open. The studio has its own separate entrance. We do not live in it when it's not being rented out, meaning it's clean and fresh and doesn't have that lived in feel. We recently furnished it so everything is new new new. The apartment itself is big and has a fireplace, built-in bookshelves, spanish tile floor, and soaring ceilings. It is air-conditioned and has a ceiling fan. It features a small but well-equipped kitchen (stove, oven, small fridge) and a small bathroom. A 20-minute walk or 5-minute drive to Tulane and Lovola Universities, our location is perfect for parents visiting their college kids. This area is particularly lacking in hotels so offers a great opportunity for those who don't want the headache of staying downtown. We are in a lovely, shaded residential area. The apartment is two blocks from the Carrolton streetcar, two blocks from Palmer Park which features a popular art market once a month, and three blocks from a grocery store and Walgreens. You are also three blocks from the popular Panola Cafe. Please be advised that the price during Mardi Gras and Jazzfest is $200/night. For stays longer than a week, we can arrange a 'laundry day' where you can use our washer/dryer once a week at no extra cost. Additionally, we have housekeepers who come to clean every two weeks.

This spacious apartment is only 1/2 block from Bourbon St. and walking distance to all major restaurants in the Quarter and Central Business District. You'll be only 3 blocks away from the St. Charles/Canal St. street car line. The 2nd floor apartment faces Conti St. and has a massive balcony with a dining table, sofas, and even outdoor lounge bed. You can see both Bourbon St. and the downtown skyline. Each bedroom has floor to ceiling windows, queen size bed, closet, fans. In addition, the living room has a full size day bed plus a large sofa, that can sleep total of 3 people. I also have an air mattress. There's also a couple of parking lots on Conti/Rampart and Bienville/Rampart. The pricing changes based on the day of the week and goes up during the weekends/holidays/festivals. There's also free parking around the St. Louis cemetery #1 which is only 4 minute walk to the apartment (I park here daily and never had any issues, even though it is located right next to public housing). Option #1 Rampart Street Parking Inc 210 North Rampart Street, New Orleans, LA This one is the most affordable in the French Quarter and only 3 block from the apartment (about 4-5 minute walk). Option #2: Premium Parking 911 Iberville St New Orleans, LA Only two blocks from the apartment, but a little bit pricier.
