Sorry to put this up top but I've had several confused people message with questions. Now on to the nice part... Live like a local in your own New Orleans cottage! Located in the popular, historical Marigny district, charming “Burgundy Cottage” is the guest quarters behind our home with a private entrance through the central courtyard. Built in 1830, it is comfortably furnished and can sleep six. The bedroom has a double bed, the loft (reachable by wrought iron spiral staircase) has 2 twin beds, and the high vaulted ceiling living area has a day bed with a pull-out trundle. There are two full baths, a washer/dryer, fully equipped kitchen, dining area, cable TV and high speed Internet access. We also have adjustable central heat and air conditioning and ceiling fans to keep you comfortable. The hustle and bustle of the French Quarter and its attractions are just blocks away to the left. To the right, enjoy nightlife on trendy Frenchman Street with its jazz clubs, bars and restaurants, a popular destination for locals on Mardi Gras. There is plenty of street parking, but all main attractions are within walking distance. For the first time visitor to NOLA, you can’t pick two more accommodating hosts than the Sinclairs. We’ll give you the inside information on the best places to eat, drink, watch parades and enjoy the festivities. It’s not all Bourbon Street by a long shot. New Orleans is much more than one neighborhood or one street. That’s why we love it here! Come spend Mardi Gras with us in the middle of it all. We have been doing short-term rentals for years but this is our first listing on AirB&B. References can be provided upon request. Please note: We have a large friendly dog who spends time in the courtyard. We prefer to rent to ages 30 or families.

Description:Grand 1850's Italianate mansion beautifully restored in 2004. The French Quarter, Morial Convention Center and St. Charles Streetcar are easily accessable from the Terrell House as is fabulous dining, avant-garde boutiques, antique shops, art galleries, and pubs found on Magazine Street. All guest rooms and suites have private baths, cable television, wireless internet and most open onto or overlook the lush courtyard. The pace at the Terrell House is relaxed--the decor subtly elegant and inviting. Description:The Creole Gardens Guesthouse Bed and Breakfast comprises two historic nineteenth century mansions and a two story servants quarters, surrounding a lovely, quiet banana courtyard. We are tucked on Prytania Street between Thalia and Melpomene Streets, one short block off of the hustle and bustle of St. Charles Avenue and its streetcars (which can take you to the French Quarter in less than ten minutes). We are also only a few blocks away from Magazine Street and its hip coffee and antique shops. A few blocks away are the Garden District, Lafayette Cemetery and the world inhabited by author Anne Rice's characters. We have 26 individually decorated rooms. Seven rooms are located in the Bordello Annex -- decorated in over-the-top Storyville style. These rooms boast thirteen foot ceilings, mantle pieces, and hardwood flooring. Four rooms are located in the main mansion. These rooms are huge and rich with original details. The remaining rooms are in the main mansion's original servant's quarters, overlooking the banana courtyard. We finished our complete renovation in 2004. Besides new wiring and plumbing, our rooms are equipped with new custom made king and queen sized beds, state of the art telephone system, cable TV, ceiling fans and free high speed 10/100 internet connection.
