After over 40 years,it has become a model for other Festivals around the world. Staged at the Fairgrounds Race Course annually with multiple music stages, thousands of musicians, the best of New Orleans and Louisiana cuisine and fabulous art and stellar handemade crafts. The entire City takes on a magical quality, the weather is forecast to be fantastic - this is the perfect time to be in New Orleans! The apartment is a separate wing of our classic New Orleans historic home, with it's own entrance from our large, shaded front porch. High ceiling, wood floors, many windows with great light. Nicely furnished, well maintained and very clean. Features: Living room with sofa futon ( sleeps 1), dining area and new mini kitchen. Kitchenette has granite counters, small sink, undercounter fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster. Classically renovated bath, all tile, with original clawfoot tub and shower. Pedestal sink, built-in cabinets, and a small closet. Serene Bedroom with new Queen bed, large closet, love seat, dresser, windows. WIFI, Air conditioned, Ceiling fan, quality bed linens and towels provided. Best way to experience New Orleans and Jazz Fest! Eliminate the hassle, expense and time getting to and from the Festival everyday. Wake up at your leisure and just walk 3 blocks. Stay 'til the last note and still have the time jump on getting to your dinner reservation and clubs. We love to share our City and our home! We are right there to help you with anything you may need. We have a wonderful large outdoor space for throwing a BBQ or having cocktails - AND we do have a large gathering on second weekend with all of our guests invited. Description:Come and enjoy my very charming home while you are enjoying the Big Easy! My property has been recently renovated and includes a brand new contemporary bathroom, kitchen and dark hardwood floors throughout. The kitchen comes fully stocked with plate, glass and silverware, along with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. In the kitchen you will find the washer and dryer. The one bathroom includes his and her sinks, large jacuzzi tub, toilette and dual shower heads, towels, and plenty of space for your toiletries. The bathroom is connected to the master bedroom and can also be accessed by the hallway. The master bedroom comes with a large wood dresser, queen size bed and lots of closest space (hangers included). The second bedroom is used as an office currently and does include a small pull out sofa (most comfortable for one person) and closet. In the living room enjoy a comfortable couch, love seat, large flat screen TV (with cable and DVR), DVD player, an assortment of DVDs and Wi-Fi. The dining room includes dinning room table, seating for at least six people: four upholstered chairs and bench. directly outside the dining room is the large backyard with patio table, chairs and BBQ pit! You have off street parking directly in front of the house. Otherwise there is plenty of room for free parking on the street. There are coffee shops and restaurants nearby. The house is located 1 mile from St. Charles Ave and the street car and is centrally located to easily access downtown and other parts of Uptown New Orleans in minutes. Description:For rent is a private 635sq ft apartment, furnished, 2 big rooms, kitchen, bathroom. Private front entrance with porch and porch-swing. Wireless internet. Off-street parking. Washer/ no dryer, TV, DVD player. Conveniently located half-ways between the French Quarter and City Park. Typical New Orleans neighborhood. You can view the location by clicking the 'Maps' tab above the picture. Located right in the middle of the red shaded circle. Public transportation is available, there are 2 bus stations within a few blocks, one on Esplanade Ave the other on Broad Ave connecting to the French Quarter and the street cars. Beds: 2 Full-size beds, 1 fold-out couch Kitchen: Microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker. 2-plate counter top stove, no oven! Pots and pans etc. Air-conditioners in both rooms and kitchen. Ceiling fan in the Master Bedroom. Gas heater in the 2nd room, also space-heaters if necessary. I live in the back of the house, accessed through side entrance. The connecting door between the front and back of house is locked from both sides for complete privacy. Since I live all the way in the back of the house and the bedrooms of the rental are in the front of the house there is no need to worry about noise, music etc. My pets roam in the yard and back apartment so if you decide to open the side door to the yard... expect some dog kisses. They are friendly but an introduction to get to know them would be good if you like to spend time outside. Special rates for extended stays available, I will send you the special rate upon request. 300$ per/wk, 900$ per month (except during special events) I am taking reservations about 2 or 3 months ahead, please check back frequently for further availability. Once you arrive at the front doors of the apartment walk directly down the hallway, exit through the french double doors, through the courtyard, to the last set of french double doors covered by hurricane shutters.
